Review | Innisfree Apple Seed Cleansing Cream

Innisfree Apple Seed Cleansing Cream

Got this at the Innisfree store hoping that it’d get rid of basic sunscreen-only days and serve as a simple cleanser.

I mentioned this product before on my Instagram, and pondered on whether to write a post for this but decided to anyway, because reviews don’t only need to be good right?

Read on to see what I like, or dislike about it.

Look & Feel

Innisfree Apple Seed Cleansing Cream

A tube bottle that is convenient for squeezing products out. The Innisfree caps though, get pretty loose so this never closes tightly for me.

Application

It is a makeup remover that works with dry hands and dry face. The first time I tried this, my makeup never really got removed.

Just felt like I was rubbing cream on the surface of my face. I washed it off as per their instructions and yeah, nothing came off still.

There was still loads of makeup on my face, especially foundation.

I resorted to trying it with a cotton pad the next time on dry face and it worked much better.

It’s like applying shaving cream all over your face and wiping it off. It does an okay job, I would say but doesn’t do its job according to the instructions.

Not sure what went wrong but it didn’t work for me.

Originally bought this hoping that it could get rid of my daily sunscreen (only) use on days I don’t wear foundation, but it couldn’t remove it either.

Yes

  • Removes makeup with cotton puff (though I still need to double cleanse)
  • Smells like green apple
  • Doesn’t dry out my face

No

  • Doesn’t work well
  • Need to use a lot of product

Am I Repurchasing?

Nope.

Overall Rating:

What better makeup remover do you have at the moment? Recommend them to me! I’d love to know more.
