Review | SIORIS Time Is Running Out Mist

SIORIS Time is Running Out Mist Featured

Hello! It’s been a super long while since I posted a review.

If you want to be exact, it would be 4 months (plus) since my last review.

The last 4 months actually felt really long and dreadful because of work but time passes at the same time.

I got this early July, and I only started using it end of July. Why? Because I was not looking forward to finishing the bottle.

HAHA. Sorry, I’m probably overreacting but I really wanted to get this for quite some time. And when I got this, it was during some Shopee sale so YES!

Saved some moolah (does anyone still use this term lol) while getting what I wanted. 😀 That’s what I call a win rofl.

It’s been a little over 2 months now and I’ve been using it less frequently these days because I’m already at half bottle omg :'(

Okay, enough whining from me. Continue scrolling!

I got mine from COCOMO (again hahaha, except on Shopee this time round and not Qoo10).

The reason why I got this was due to the fact that my Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence (Intensive Moist) had finished, and I was looking for another toner. Since this functions as a toner and serum, it gave me even more reasons to get it lol.

Btw, did not review the Missha one since it has been out for a while. I did not notice much changes but tbvh, my skin constantly felt very smooth when I used that toner and the Manyo Factory Galactomyces Niacin Essence together.

Possible reason could be that they were both fermented skincare which had added benefits when used constantly.

Look & Feel

For the life of me, I cannot find the box which came with this. So frustrating. But I’m sure you’re much more eager to know the content of the box instead.

The mist comes in a frosted plastic bottle with a spray nozzle which produces pretty fine mist.

That I’m satisfied about – sorry, but I totally forgot to take a picture of it without the cap. Hah. Losing my blogging mode.

Anyway, the cap also tightly secures when closed, it isn’t easy to accidentally open it too.

Not much to complain except that I’ve been thinking about the use of plastic everywhere so… yeah.

Application

Simple. Shake it real hard and spritz, spritz and an extra one if you need.

I do thrice, sometimes twice because I do have a combo oily skin.

Nevertheless, I never felt like this made my skin oily with its oil + toner concept.

I even finish my skincare routine with this once in a while, nothing bad to say.

Are you interested in the scent?

Well, this smelled just the way I envisioned it to.

Like an orangey yuzu fragrance. It’s pretty refreshing to smell it during both day and night.

Although it’s an in your face scent, it’s just a mist. The scent disappears almost 1-2 minutes later.

So if you dislike heavy fragrance, fret not!

Just to give you a glimpse of the before, during and after photos below.

I spritz twice in the During pic, but ended up spritzing twice more for the After photo to show the absorption more clearly.

As you can notice, it is definitely not looking oily and did not feel heavy or tacky.

On the contrary, it was a very even combo of moisture + oil thinly wrapping my skin.

However, I do see people using this more than just 4 spritz if it’s their first Skincare step.

If your skin is dry after washing your face, you surely need to spritz more than if you were to use this as a second step or final step.

That is the reason why I decided to NOT use it as a first step Skincare despite it being toner and serum all-in-one.

For a makeup finish (not setting) spray if your makeup turned out too matte or for a finishing step in Skincare if you are lacking that extra oomph, this will be great.

Yes

  • Handy and portable
  • Versatile
  • Carry on flight
  • Not irritating or oily
  • Refreshing scent
  • Lightweight
  • Fine mist
  • Does not mess up makeup
  • Ease of availability

No

  • Might not be the most cost efficient if using as a toner + serum, 100ml for about SGD 25
  • Scent might be overpowering to some users

Am I Repurchasing?

Possibly yes, for short travels where I want to pack light. This is great as a first and second step.

Or as a finishing step in Skincare.

But I would not rely too much on this every day as it is not very cost efficient, imo.

That’s all from me today! I did a poll to do a Skincare review or a makeup one and SIORIS won. Hence, a review as requested.

The next one would be the makeup review.

Stay tuned for that ☺️
